It was a vile night in terms of weather, but the turnout was astounding. About 30 adults and 20 children met up in the church for a quick rehearsal (aided by some mulled wine) before taking a meandering route up to The Woolpack and singing to an assortment of bemused High Street residents and a few resolutely closed doors too. Approximately £130 was raised for the Friends of Sutton Veny Church, but the main thing was that we had a lot of fun. There is a strong suspicion that this will become an annual event.
