Beacon schools are those identified as amongst the best performing in the country; they are recognised for their good practice and the high standards pupils achieve.
Beacon Schools are required to work with at least 2 partner schools over a three year period to share and develop good practice.
Beacon status is an accolade to all members of our school community, and recognition of the support, commitment and achievements of us all.
MB aged 8 in Class 4 said " I think it's really good because all the children behave and are really nice to visitors at the school, and it's good that we get to work with other schools and we can show them how we became a 'Beacon School'.
