SORRY, NO TRICK OR TREAT HERE PLEASE" Telephone me (840403) or call round (101 High Street) if you would like one. They ma...

Dan W.
I remember a David Webster from many years ago - he lived in Number 6 or 7 High Street. He left and I think rumour had it that he had gone abroad - ? Australia or NZ. Sorry not to have any more info.

Crime figures.

The following web page makes interesting reading. It gives the crime figures, broken down into categories, for the past year for the Warminster South NPT area - and adds the detection rates!

Thieves are about!

Just to let you all know that a resident in the High Street has told me that their garden shed was broken into (again!) last night. Equipment was stolen and they are keen that other residents should be warned. Locks and chains appear to be fairly ineffective against a determinded thief - so vigilanc...

Re: Hintons of Greenhill

The "Sutton Veny Book" (published by the SV WI in 1995) states that Anne Hinton was the last of that family to live in Greenhill House. There is a full page reproduction of the advertisement showing it "To be let". It seems that it was then occupied by the Everett family - who may be shown to have b...
