In answer to the last question posed on the subject of speeding and associated 'calming measures', may I suggest that a trial of a speed recorder as in the one used at the Bishopstrow end of warminster High Street, would be a start - they certainly have an affect on me!

Peter, thank you for your comments and I look forward to reading up on the resutls of the Police work. I have heard the comment that most offenders are residents. I am not sure that is germane to the argument. Whether villagers or not, there appears (yet to be proved) to be a problem and if resident...
